Effective Flight Training

A practical training session includes a pre-flight briefing to cover objectives, review, new knowledge, performance standards, pre-flight preparation, and pre-flight check. Once the flight is complete, a proper evaluation of the session, reviewing the performance against the pre-flight objectives, will provide precise measurable results. Here is what to expect during a training session.

  • An adequate pre-flight: 20-30 minutes
  • Local training flight: 2-3 hours
  • Post-flight review: 30 min

We offer both half-day and full-day training sessions. Half-day training sessions are 4 hours or less. Full-day training is anything over 4 hours. Full-day flight training is typically combined with business travel or personal missions.

Destination Training

Why do you want to fly?  Where do you want to go?  We train in the real world.  We help you take full advantage of the freedom available to you.  We fly to various destinations that allow you to build skills and enhance experience.

These Experiences Are Completely Unique And Enjoyable.

  • Need a quick break and some time to focus on avionics without too many distractions?  Head down to St. George to shoot a round of golf and be back in time for your afternoon meeting.
  • Looking to improve your skills operating in a busy airspace?  Pop on down to Vegas to catch a show or out to San Diego to relax on the beach.
  • Need to work on mountain training?  Fly to Denver to catch a Broncos game or hit the slopes at Aspen, Steamboat, or Telluride.  Need a little more peace and quiet?  Try a short flight to fish blue ribbon rivers in Montana.
  • How about learning to land on a real grass strip?  Zip on up to Smiley Creek for brunch and be back in time for your afternoon meeting.
  • Already an avid pilot looking for the next big step?  Try an international flight up to Whistler, BC.  Year-round there is something to do.  If that's too cold, consider a trip down to Cabo, or if you have a few extra days, over to the Bahamas.
  • Nervous about flying over open water?  Perhaps a weekend trip to Catalina Island is just the right starting point.
  • Are you a sports fanatic?  Try flying into the Super Bowl TFR and catch the game or zip over to the X games (winter or summer).
  • Maybe you're a history buff.  The Boeing museum in Seattle is quite the experience and usually offers some IFR practice.

So many adventures are out there, and working on flight training simultaneously makes the adventure so much more amazing!  Call us now and schedule your next adventure!
