Instructional flights offer an excellent opportunity to feel the high of flying with an expert in a carefree, secure setting. After a small ground briefing, you are up in the sky.
Under the supervision of a certified flight instructor, you are given genuine hands-on control. The instructor covers the fundamentals of aircraft handling to prepare you for the real flight. The trial flight is a terrific investment if you want to learn to fly but don’t know where to start.
Typically, the one-hour flight takes place in a Cessna 172. However, the aircraft can differ based on the fleet an organization has. Under the guidance and supervision of a knowledgeable instructor, the participant will sit in the left-hand seat and have the opportunity to fly the aircraft.
A fifteen-minute ground briefing covers the fundamental flight controls of the aircraft. It also includes an explanation of what to expect during your flight.
The one-hour flight counts toward your recreational, private, or commercial pilot license training. It’s an experience you won’t soon forget.
Your experience is dependent on the weather. It is advised to confirm before your flight day to ensure there’s no chance of rain or high winds.
Wear your usual clothes with shoes and sunglasses.
The minimum eligibility age for an instructional flight is 13 years. The participant must weigh at least 120kg. Upon request, you can switch the aircraft to a larger one.
If you want to learn how to become a pilot, an instructional flight will help you decide whether to follow your passion. Not everyone takes to heights easily. So, this is your chance to determine if you fear flying.
