For those interested in the challenge and want to become a better pilot, the Commercial certificate is a great way to pursue that aspiration! The Commercial certificate is similar to the process of the Private Pilot certificate. The main difference is that you will be required to know your aircraft in greater detail, be able to fly the plane to tighter tolerances and have a better understanding of aviation rules and guidelines.
Most of the Commercial requirements you will have already met in your past aviation experiences. In fact, the applicant that has already logged 10 hrs of dual in a complex aircraft and the other PIC requirements, could be ready to take the practical exam in as short as a month's time.
